In a city bursting with very many great restaurants, located at Caesar’s Palace at the Forum Shops, Il Mulino New York Restaurant provides the rarest treat of them all. It has a sister restaurant in Las Vegas which mainly specializes in 1) the best ingredients available 2) best service and 3) Northern Italy cuisine.
Even though many Americans associate Campania with Italians, Northern Italy, more particularly in Piedmont is arguably the most interesting of them all. Piedmont’s cuisine is characterized by wild game, truffles, and very rich white sauces. What’s more interesting, all the people there love hors d’oeuvres, and so are Il Mulino chefs.
The fact that I love describing and talking about restaurants hasn’t given me the mandate to rate the restaurants, but if I would, I1 Mulino would get two thumbs up plus the highest ranks available amongst restaurants. When you walk in this restaurant, you’ll be forgiven to think you’re walking into a Milan restaurant. You’ll be welcomed by a window full of cheese, wine, and mouthwatering delicacies, all telling you what to expect inside as you’re summoned by a menu on a stand.

The moment you step foot inside Il Mulino New York Restaurant, you should be ready for your meal immediately and even before you pass your gratitude for the cheese, you’ll be slapped with bruschetta with basil and tomato and a large hors d’oeuvre will be brought to the table to share. Slightly afterwards a variety of Italian breads, focaccia, country bread, and garlic will follow suit all happening at a hiatus of 30seconds of just getting seated.
Ensure you taste I1 Mulino’s fried zucchini with a peppery finish. The restaurant in general is characterized by wrought irons and dark wood tones. There is this huge board which will give the smartly dressed waiters the privacy they need to put final touches on the dishes before final presentation.
